Jambo Mutara Tented Camp

Jambo Mutara Tented Camp is the only accommodation in the 20,000-acre Mutara Conservancy, with just 15 tents. It borders the famous Ol Pejeta Conservancy and guests have unlimited access to this wilderness property. Together, these properties comprize the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa.

The luxury, tailor-made canvas tents boast top-class interior furnishings and en-suite bathrooms; it is very easy to forget you are in a tent! The entire front side can be folded open, allowing light to pour into the room and the afternoon breeze to float through.

Each tent has a deluxe king-sized bed and a cozy reading area. With a fully stocked mini-bar, guests can enjoy sundowners on their own private deck, looking out onto endless Africa, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the bush.

Olpejeta House

Ol Pejeta House Serena is a luxury private lodge standing at the centre of the 110,000-acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which lies on the Laikipia plains 27 kilometers from Nanyuki Town and 217 kilometers from Nairobi. Transfers by road from Nairobi take approximately 3.5 hours. Ol Pejeta House is set against the spectacular backdrop of magnificent Mount Kenya in 24,000 acres of Ol Pejeta – Sweetwaters Conservancy still retains the bygone tradition of Kenya’s famous farmhouse hospitality. Tucked within the expansive Ol Pejeta Conservancy, host to all of the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), Ol Pejeta House is a hidden gem amidst the unspoilt majesty of the Kenyan wilderness. Contemporary comfort combines effortlessly with the bygone traditions of Kenya’s farmhouse hospitality, creating an atmosphere that is as enriching as it is relaxing.

Kicheche Laikipia Camp

Kicheche Laikipia Camp is located in Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Nanyuki is 29 km from the lodge. Game viewing is also possible from the comfort of your verandah, overlooking the dam, a magnet for wildlife during the dry season. The camp has 6 luxurious tents that have en-suite bathrooms and are insect proof.  The spacious well-furnished lounge and dining tent have two roaring fires for the cooler evenings. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are often taken al-fresco and pre-dinner drinks and star gazing are a must under the great African sky.

Porini Rhino Camp

Porini Rhino Camp is hidden in a secluded valley and set amongst shady acacia trees on the banks of a seasonal river on the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. There is an airstrip for private charters approximately 10 minutes from camp and regular scheduled flights arrive at the Nanyuki airstrip which is about 45 minutes drive from the Conservancy. The award-winning Porini Camps are intimate bush camps that have a low carbon footprint and with a focus on conservation and providing benefits to the local communities while providing guests with an authentic safari experience, away from the crowds.The camp consists of seven spacious guest tents, each comfortably furnished with en suite bathrooms that have flush lavatories and safari showers. The camp is very environmentally-friendly with solar powered lighting and no generator. Each tent has been sited to have beautiful views of the surrounding areas.
