Dear Traveller,
The world has undergone changes due to the Corona Virus pandemic (COVID-19). People have had the chance to reflect on their lives, priorities, their health and well-being etc. Humanity is slowly awakening from enforced slumber like animals’ surface after their winter in hibernation. The globe has had a chance to heal and a pushback on pollution will hopefully have some positive changes on the environment. One thing that has not changed is the mankind’s quest to travel, discover, saunter and build safari memories.

At Saunterland Africa Tours, one of the most comforting things during the past few months was the trust and hope that “this too will pass”. We never lost that faith and trust in ourselves, our people, our properties and our philosophy to see the positive in every challenge and to find opportunity in adversity. We held each other up during the darkest moments and honoured our promise to ourselves to come away better than before. We have revised and implemented our environmental, health and safety program (EHS program) to include the contemporary COVID-19, improved our state of art safari land cruisers (jeep) and safari vans, implemented lessons from safari contacts with our existing clients, introduced a multilingual safari experience for non-english speaking travelers, introduced an overland safari experience as well as introduced wildlife and nature documentaries program

We understand the anxieties that many prospective travellers may have at this time and are fully sympathetic to those concerns. We continue to monitor the situation closely and follow the advice of the World Health Organisation, international governments and the Kenyan authorities.Tourism in Kenya is awakening and look forward to hosting you for a safari in Kenya under the African blues in our parks (Masai Mara National Reserve, Amboseli National Park, Tsavo East and West National Park, Olpejeta Conservancy, Samburu Game Reserve,Lake Nakuru National Park, Shimba Hills,Mt.Kenya National Park), in our sandy beaches in Diani and Malindi, and mountaineering in Mt.Kenya and Mt.Kilimanjaro.

We have introduced flexible booking terms so that once you have booked you can amend your travel dates to be postponed until later with no penalty so long as the pandemic continues and if the situation warrants this because of disruptions to travel

The Saunterland family welcomes you for a safari in Kenya in the knowledge that we are ready and fully prepared to WHO and Government Standards of Health, Hygiene and Sanitation in our commitment to keep you heathy and safe!
