The safari departs Nairobi in the morning and involves a drive down to the the floor of the Rift Valley making a stop at view point to see the escarpment and the awesome sight of the valley and the features there in. Masai Mara reserve which offers a Classic safari with Big 5 present and Many big cats, wildebeest migration and see our wildlife at Masai Mara Game Reserve. Lake Nakuru is home to huge flocks of pink flamingoes, hundreds of birds species as well as a rich diversity of other wildlife.

Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi- Masai Mara Game Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving Narok Town where you will enjoy your lunch. Later we proceed to Masai Mara and we head for afternoon game drive. It offers a great opportunity to view the big five (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and cheetah). Herds of plains zebras, giraffes, jackals, white-bearded gnus, Oribis, warthogs, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, hartebeests, hyenas, bat-eared foxes, rare Topi antelope and beautiful rone antelope, as well as hippos and crocodiles in the Mara River are some of the fauna the pristine national reserve has to offer. Dinner and overnight at Fisi Camp.

Day 2Masai Mara Game Reserve

Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village (US$20 per person).
All meals and overnight at the Ilkeliani Camp Mara.

Day 3Masai Mara Game Reserve-Lake Nakuru National Park

Rise up early for breakfast, check out and depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park. We will arrive at Flamingo Hill Camp with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our evening game drive between 1600hrs to 1830hrs. Lake Nakuru National Park offers you a rare insight into Kenya’s most diverse flora, fauna and wildlife and is famous for its huge flocks of pink flamingoes. The birds throng on Lake Nakuru itself, one of the Rift Valley soda lakes that comprises almost a third of the park’s area. More than 450 species of birds have been recorded here as well as a rich diversity of other wildlife. Lions, leopards, warthogs, waterbucks, pythons, and white rhinos are just some of the animals you might see, and the landscapes range from sweeping grasslands bordering the lake to rocky cliffs and woodland. The park also protects the largest euphorbia candelabrum forest in Africa.

Day 4Return to Nairobi
