You will be picked from your hotel or airport in Nairobi and depart for Masai Mara National Reserve via the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. Enjoy a drive via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads. Along the way, we shall have a brief stopover at the spectacular Great Rift Valley, which is fault line some 3,500 miles (5,600km) long stretching from Ethiopia’s Red Sea through Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, and into Mozambique. We will arrive at the camp/lodge with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our first game drive in the afternoon at the reserve. Return to camp/ lodge for dinner and overnight.

Spend the day exploring Maasai Mara Game reserve. Go out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the reserve. You may opt to split the game drives into morning and evening game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village (US$20 per person) or taking a hot air balloon safari at $450 per person. Roll down the windows or stand up through the customized pop up roof hatch and enjoy this unhindered 360 views, and the possibilities for what lies ahead. Masai Mara is Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. In the Mara River, throngs of hippos and crocodiles lurk. The park is also known for providing excellent predator sightings in their natural habitats thanks to its relatively large populations of lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You will also see lots of Elephants, Masai giraffe, common zebra, impala, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, Topi, Hartebeest, Black-backed jackal, spotted hyena, various bird species and many more. Dinner and overnight at the safari camp.

Wake up for a morning game drive through the Masai Mara National Reserve. The cooler air and low-light are the ideal time to spot hunters such as lions and leopards on the prowl, and the early morning light is also quite spectacular as it sets fire to the landscape.

After Check out, depart for Lake Naivasha. The lake is situated on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland. Check-in at the resort and have lunch. In the afternoon , head out for a walking safari by boat ride in the Crescent Island. It’s one of the few places in the wild where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, impalas and countless bird species. Return to your resort in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Depart Lake Naivasha for Olpejeta in the early morning .We will arrive at the hotel with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our late afternoon game drive in the conservancy. Host to all the members of the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), the conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya. At the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy programme, the conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species. You will meet a black rhino named Baraka, an ambassador for the critically endangered species.

At 7.00pm, proceed for a night game drive. Experience the magic of Ol Pejeta Conservancy come alive at night on a captivating game drive. As darkness descends, a different cast of characters emerges from the bush. Spot elusive predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs on the hunt. Observe nocturnal herbivores like zebras, giraffes, and bat-eared foxes venturing out to graze. Your expert guide will navigate expertly through the reserve, using spotlights to illuminate the creatures in their natural habitat. Learn about their unique adaptations for thriving under the cover of darkness. Listen to the symphony of nocturnal sounds – the haunting calls of hyenas, the rustling of leaves as animals forage, and the symphony of nocturnal insects.

At 9.00pm, return to your hotel for overnight
