DAY 4MASAI MARA TO LAKE NAIVASHA

Wake up for a morning game drive through the Masai Mara National Reserve. The cooler air and low-light are the ideal time to spot hunters such as lions and leopards on the prowl, and the early morning light is also quite spectacular as it sets fire to the landscape.

After Check out, depart for Lake Naivasha. The lake is situated on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland. Check-in at the resort and have lunch. In the afternoon , head out for a walking safari by boat ride in the Crescent Island. It’s one of the few places in the wild where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, impalas and countless bird species. Return to your resort in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation:

Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort

Meal Plan:
• Breakfast ,Lunch and Dinner

DAY 5EXPLORING HELLS GATE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, drive to Hells Gate National Park .Due to the lack of major predators here such as lions and leopards, Hells Gate is safe for you to access without a vehicle and this makes it very unique indeed thus you may hire a bike at the park entrance for a biking tour or take a walking stroll or explore aboard your safari vehicle. Get a glimpse of the towers of rock that provide rock climbing opportunities for adrenaline junkies and hiking trails that wind around a gorge formed by ancient, raging waters.

Return to the resort for lunch and relaxation in the afternoon. Afternoon wind and storms can cause the Lake to become suddenly rough and produce high waves. For this reason, the local Maasai christened the lake Nai’posha meaning ‘rough water’. The lake and its surroundings are rich in natural bounty, and the fertile soils and water supply have made this one of Kenya’s prime agricultural regions. Much of the lake is surrounded by forests of the yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea, known as the yellow fever tree. These forests abound with bird life, and Naivasha is known as a world class birding destination. Dinner and overnight at the resort.
