Upon landing at the JKIA airport in Nairobi, you will be met by our driver and be transferred to a city hotel for relaxation as you recharge for the bush safari ahead. Dinner and overnight at the city hotel

You will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi and depart for Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch. At around 1600hrs, you will head out on a game drive in the semi-arid park that showcases the unique wildlife that Samburu is home to. In addition to more ‘conventional’ safari animal sightings, you’ll also have the chance to spot the Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, long-necked Gerenuk and Grevy’s Zebra – the famous ‘Special Five’. The park is also home to large herds of elephants, as well as lions, leopards, zebras, and more. After your game drive, you’ll overnight at your lodge

Today we rise up early and enjoy our breakfast and by 6:30am we set out in the park in search of rare species of animals unique to the park, namely: the long necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa onyx. Before it is hot, we return to the camp for lunch. Samburu is hot and it is at times not advisable to have a full day game drive. We head out for our evening game drive between 1600hrs to 1830hrs. Look out for the elusive Kenya leopard that is often known to visit the park, especially in the evenings. Other wildlife present in the park includes cheetahs and lions, as well as elephants, buffalo and hippos. Besides, the park is a bird haven and boasts over 350 different species of birds including vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others

Depart Samburu for Olpejeta Conservancy. We will arrive at camp with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our evening game drive. Host to all the members of the ‘Big Five, the conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya. At the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy programme, the conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species. Dinner and overnight at the conservancy.

Depart Olpejeta for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have a stopover at Nyahururu for a chance to see a 74 meters Thomson’s Falls. The oceanic breeze here is lovely. You will relax a bit as you take photos. You will then Proceed and arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. Later head out for your game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park offers you a rare insight into Kenya’s most diverse flora, fauna and wildlife and is famous for its huge flocks of pink flamingos. The birds throng on Lake Nakuru itself, one of the Rift Valley soda lakes that comprises almost a third of the park’s area. More than 450 species of birds have been recorded here as well as a rich diversity of other wildlife. Lions, leopards, warthogs, waterbucks, pythons, and white rhinos are just some of the animals you might see, and the landscapes range from sweeping grasslands bordering the lake to rocky cliffs and woodland. The park also protects the largest euphorbia candelabrum forest in Africa. Return to your safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Rise up early for breakfast, check out and depart Lake Nakuru National Park for Masai Mara Game Reserve. We will arrive at the lodge with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our evening game drive between 1600hrs to 1830hrs. Masai Mara is one of the lushest reserves in Africa, and is globally renowned for the Great Migration when thousands of wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle travel to and from the Serengeti, from July through October. In the Mara River, throngs of hippos and crocodiles lurk.

Rise early today for breakfast. As the cool, fresh air fills your lungs you will feel invigorated and rejuvenated, ready for a great full day game drive. Roll down the windows or stand up through the customized pop up roof hatch and enjoy this unhindered 360 views, and the possibilities for what lies ahead. Masai Mara Game Reserve is known for providing excellent predator sightings in their natural habitats thanks to its relatively large populations of lion, cheetah, and leopard. We will also see lots of Elephants, Masai giraffe, common zebra, impala, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelles, Topi, Hartebeest, Black-backed jackal, spotted hyena and more. Return to the safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Depart Masai Mara for Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, check in and have lunch. Have a relaxed afternoon in the hotel. Proceed for a boat ride excursion to Crescent Island. Crescent Island Sanctuary is one of the few places you can walk among wild animals. The absence of predators makes it safe to roam among animals. You are certain to trek by diverse herds of wildlife – wildebeest, waterbuck, zebra, giraffe and gazelle among others. Later you will be transferred by boat back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
